Dr Krishna Tumuluri

Subspeciality: Oculoplastics

Dr Krishna Tumuluri is an ophthalmologist who subspecialises in eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery (oculoplastic surgeon – adults and children). After completion of ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, he undertook three years of additional training in the subspecialty of oculoplastic surgery at such world- renowned centres as Moorfields Eye Hospital - London and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. He is accredited at Macquarie University Hospital and also works at Westmead and Liverpool hospitals, the Children’s Hospital Westmead and Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia. He was an examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in the discipline of anatomy. He is a clinical senior lecturer at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University. Dr Tumuluri has a special interest in management of eyelid malpositions (ptosis, ectropion and entropion surgery), management of skin cancers in the region of eyelids, Seventh nerve palsy, DCR surgery for watery eye – specialising in endoscopic DCR surgery, thyroid eyelid and orbital problems and management of orbital lesions and tumours.
