MQ Health Pty Ltd, the Clinical Services delivery arm of Macquarie University Health, is a controlled entity of Macquarie University.

We are governed by a board of directors and led by an executive team that has extensive experience in the design and delivery of high-quality, patient-centred, academic healthcare systems in Australia and internationally.

Our team is passionate about integrating patient-centred clinical services, education and research for improved patient outcomes.

Professor S Bruce Dowton

Chair

Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor S Bruce Dowton is a paediatrician, clinical geneticist, molecular biologist, researcher and academic with decades of leadership experience.

Professor Mary Chiarella AM

Non-Executive Director

Emeritus Professor Chiarella is an internationally renowned nurse leader with a distinguished career in nursing services and has previously served as the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, NSW Health. She has qualifications in nursing, midwifery and law and is passionate about nursing education and development and patient safety and quality.

Professor H Patrick McNeil

Director

Professor McNeil is a leader in research, teaching and clinical care. He is Macquarie University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Medicine and Health) and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences.

Robin Payne

Director

As the Vice-President Finance and Resources of Macquarie University, Robin Payne has more than 30 years’ experience in finance and commerce and a keen understanding of financial markets, governance and reporting.

Elizabeth Koff AM

Non-Executive Director

A highly experienced and respected health leader, Elizabeth Koff understands health service delivery across public, private and primary care settings and the health system interfaces with aged care and disability sectors.

Professor Eric Knight

Director

Professor Knight serves as Deputy Vice Chancellor (People & Operations). He has experience leading research and teaching in health economics and health leadership at Macquarie University as Executive Dean of Macquarie Business School, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research – Enterprise & Engagement) at the University of Sydney, and in various commercial settings.
