To be a world-class university health sciences centre, integrating clinical care, learning and research to improve lives.
As a progressive healthcare system, we focus on six core values to provide high-quality care for patients through research and training:
As a patient at MQ Health you can be confident that all staff bring their hearts to work and are striving to provide you with care characterised by the principles below.
MQ Health’s Consumer Advisory Committee was established in 2015 to allow MQ Health to effectively pursue and embed its patient-centred approach to the delivery of excellent clinical care, underpinned by learning and research.
Comprising up to 10 members of our community, the committee plays a pivotal role in supporting the MQ Health Executive to continuously improve on its patient-focused approach to healthcare through a genuine partnership with consumers.
The Committee is designed to make a meaningful contribution to appropriate facets of MQ Health’s planning and operations and to date has developed our Principles of Care and patient feedback surveys; been the driving force behind the establishment of our Volunteer Program and Community Event Series; and inputted into the development of a significant number of MQ Health policies and quality and safety initiatives from the consumer perspective.
