Our 12-month graduate nurse transition program empowers newly qualified enrolled and registered nurses through their journey of transition from graduate to competent clinician.

About the program
The program encourages personal development and skills for life-long learning including critical and reflective thinking, teamwork and inquiry, and includes:
- a dedicated program coordinator
- full orientation and onboarding days
- supported supernumerary progression
- structured study days with evidence-based content
- professional development pathways
- two specialty rotations within chosen stream
- option to work part-time (minimum 32 hours/week).
We offer a choice of perioperative or clinical streams, so you can fast-track your career in your chosen specialty.

Clinical stream specialties
- Breast surgery
- Cardiology
- Cardiothoracic surgery
- Colorectal and upper GIT surgery
- Ear, nose and throat surgery

- Orthopaedic, spinal and hand surgery
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery
