What is an X-Ray?

An X-Ray is a high-energy electromagnetic wave, similar to light, that allows us to view internal body structures.

X-Rays create images of what's inside the body, most commonly of areas like your chest, abdomen, spine, bones, and teeth.

In addition to general X-Ray, MMI's Dual Energy Digital X-Ray (DEXA) machine and Dental OPG Unit produce high quality diagnostic images using the lowest possible dose, while our dedicated radiographers look after you throughout the process.

No appointment or special preparation is required for these studies.
