Evidence-based approach

Our commitment to the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) model – which is rapidly gaining recognition worldwide – sets us apart from others. This model prioritises:

  • optimising patient care before surgery
  • facilitating rapid post-surgical mobilisation
  • ensuring early discharge when suitable, allowing patients to continue their rehabilitation comfortably at home.

Collaboration

We believe in empowering our patients through clear communication and shared decision-making. By fostering a collaborative approach, we encourage active participation in their care, ultimately leading to accelerated and enhanced recovery.

The Orthopaedic Institute aspires to become a 'centre of excellence', championing the benefits of our model through integrated clinical and translational research.
