Biography
Dr Ata Doost is an experienced interventional and structural cardiologist with advanced training in Australia and the UK. He completed his cardiology training at The Canberra, Royal Perth, and Fiona Stanley Hospitals, and later undertook a fellowship at King’s College Hospital in London. Dr Doost has performed thousands of cardiac catheterisations and has extensive experience in structural heart procedures. He specialises in coronary interventions, advanced imaging, and valve therapies including TAVI and MitraClip. He holds an MPhil from ANU and is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Macquarie University Medical School.
