Biography

A/Prof Gumley completed undergraduate study at Sydney University in 1975, and Orthopaedic surgery training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association Training Program. He undertook specialty hand and microsurgery fellowship training from 1982 to 1985. He established a surgery training program in Cambodia and provided reconstructive hand surgery to adults and children. He holds the position of Head of Hand Surgery at Macquarie University. He is an examiner in Orthopaedic surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
