Biography
Dr Hawraa Al-Naqshabandi is Head of Breast Imaging and a Consultant Breast Radiologist at Macquarie Medical Imaging, Macquarie University Hospital, Sydney. She has 15+ years’ experience across Australia and Iraq, with subspecialty expertise in breast imaging and interventional procedures. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. She specialises in mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI, and performs image-guided biopsies, vacuum-assisted procedures and pre-operative localisation. She contributes to multidisciplinary breast cancer care and personalised treatment plans. She is passionate about educating trainees in advanced breast imaging.
