Dr Smith has worked in Sydney as a paediatric Ophthalmologist for 20 years following his training at Sydney Eye Hospital and the Royal Alexandria Hospital for Children at Camperdown. As well as consulting at Macquarie University Hospital, he is the Head of Ophthalmology at Royal North Shore Hospital.
