Biography
Katie Banning is a physiotherapist and lymphoedema therapist who joined the Macquarie University Health Lymphoedema Clinic in 2023 after completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy and a clinic internship in 2022. She works across conservative, diagnostic and surgical teams. Katie is passionate about improving quality of life through movement, exercise and evidence-based care. Her research into surgical lymphoedema management was recognised by the Australasian Lymphology Association in 2024. She has additional training in wound care, women’s health physiotherapy and pain management, and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the Australasian Lymphology Association.
