Biography
KKim Toyer is a physiotherapist and with over 30 years’ experience in varied roles from rehabilitation, oncology and continence therapies. Training as a lymphoedema therapist in 2008 extended her skills to help people feel whole despite managing their lymphoedema. Working at the Macquarie University Lymphoedema Clinic means being involved in all three treatment clinics - conservative, diagnostic, and surgical. A particular area of interest inspired her to complete a Master’s degree focused on the experiences of women navigating pregnancy with lymphoedema. Membership of the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA) is valued for the reciprocal learning and mentoring opportunities.
