Haematology
Dr Ellis is a consultant clinical and laboratory haematologist who cares for patients with non-malignant and malignant conditions including lymphoma, myeloma, leukaemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, thrombosis and bleeding disorders. He has clinical and research interests specifically in myeloproliferative disorders, thrombosis and haemostasis. He completed medical school at the University of Queensland in 2009 and haematology specialist training in Brisbane. He completed a PhD at the University of Sydney in 2022 investigating platelet formation for which he received a university prize. He maintains an active research interest.
