Biography
Dr Tait is a specialist in the neurosurgical treatment of disorders of the spine and diseases of the blood vessels of the brain. He has completed additional post-fellowship training in both complex spine surgery and cerebrovascular surgery. He is a Fellow of both RACS and the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS). Matthew is very committed to medical research and is a Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University. His current research interests are in investigating techniques to reduce post-operative pain following spinal surgery. During neurosurgery training he completed an Oxford University research doctorate (DM) on the treatment of brain swelling after subarachnoid haemorrhage.
