Sam Adie

Biography

Prof Sam Adie is Professor of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at the University of New South Wales. He specialises in surgery of the hip and knee, including primary and revision hip and knee replacement, and arthroscopic surgery of the knee. He completed his training in Sydney followed by Fellowship training at the University of Oxford and University of Toronto. He works at several hospitals across Sydney. He has been awarded approximately $15 million in competitive research grants and has won numerous awards for his research. He runs a series of clinical trials to improve outcomes after joint replacement and injury.
