Biography

Professor Di Ieva is a consultant Neurosurgeon who earned his Fellowship with RACS in 2017. His clinical expertise is in Neuro-oncology, pituitary and skull base surgery, pain treatment and percutaneous treatments for craniofacial pain and hemifacial spasm, decompression of peripheral nerves, spine surgery, microneurosurgery, endoscopic and minimally invasive (“keyhole”) neurosurgery, awake surgery and neuromonitoring, hydrocephalus and neurotraumatology. Prof. Di Ieva’s academic mission is to continue research and teaching with the goal of advancing medicine to improve patients quality of life.
