For many Australians, access to specialist treatments and surgical procedures can be difficult. At MQ Health, we have several options for patients who might need extra support.

Access program

Available for people who have private health cover but can’t afford the full cost of the surgery, the Access Program offers no out-of-pocket costs for certain treatments and procedures.

Access is available to patients who currently have private health cover and whose cover includes the listed procedures and their associated hospital costs.

Grateful Patient Program

Recognising the variety of ways in which patients and their families might want to say ‘thank-you’, our Grateful Patient Program provides an easy way for patients to donate.

In special circumstances, patients may be able to access these donated funds to support their treatment.

The Monique and Doug Thompson Gamma Knife Fund

The Monique and Doug Thompson Gamma Knife Fund enables patients, who otherwise would not be able to afford treatment, to receive financial support for Gamma Knife treatment at Macquarie University Hospital.

You can ask for funding multiple times if you need more than one Gamma Knife treatment. Here more from our generous donor here:
