Contact us on +61 (2) 9812 3852 to make an appointment, or fill in the booking enquiry form.

Is there parking available?

Yes there is. Directions and parking information.

What you will need to bring depends on whether your child is eligible for subsidised services. We can confirm this when you book your appointment.

Items you may need could include:

  • Medicare card.
  • Healthfund card.
  • NDIS information.
  • Any reports, tests or relevant documentation from your child’s GP, specialist, allied health professional, baby health centre, preschool or school.
  • Your completed patient registration form and any additional forms our team has emailed you prior to the appointment, if you haven’t already returned these to us via email.
  • For physiotherapy assessment involving the legs or back please wear or bring along a pair of shorts for the child to wear.
Arriving at the clinic

You will need to give your completed patient registration form and any additional forms to our administration staff. Our staff will then update your child’s record.

Your initial consultation

Usually an initial consultation will involve a conversation about your child's specific needs and an assessment of them. After the assessment, we will discuss your results with you and the relevant options for management. For some appointment types, this structure may be different.

Next steps

Before you leave, our reception staff will create an account for your consultation and any testing performed.

You can also make any follow-up appointments at reception before you leave.

How much do services cost?

Please contact our rooms on +61 (2) 9812 3852 to find out exact costs for your visit.

Will I get money back from Medicare?

You may be eligible for a partial rebate of up to 5 sessions/year through Medicare if your child has a chronic health condition. Prior to your appointment speak to your GP about your eligibility for a Chronic Disease Management Plan.

Will I get money back from my private health insurance?

Partial rebates are available from most private health funds depending on your level of cover. Speak with your health fund to check your level of cover.

At the end of your appointment we will issue you with a receipt, that you will be able to claim with your health fund.

When do I pay for my appointment?

MQ Health Kids is not a bulk billing practice, so you will need to pay at the time of your consultation.

NDIS

We see children and adolescents who are participants of the NDIS, Lifetime Care and Support Scheme and other compensatory bodies.

NDIS participants who are managed by the NDIA or a third party will need prior approval before seeing one of our therapists.

Please contact us for advice on how to proceed with an appointment.
