The Psychology Clinic at Macquarie University Health is a leading training clinic for our future psychologists. We provide high-quality clinical care for the community at affordable rates.

What we treat

Our clinic provides therapy for a range of issues such as:

  • anxiety
  • behavioural and emotional problems
  • bereavement
  • depression
  • life and work stresses
  • low self esteem
  • maladaptive coping responses
  • phobias
  • relationship issues.

The clinic is staffed by provisionally registered psychologists who are currently undertaking postgraduate study in organisational psychology and clinical psychology. These staff members are supervised by highly experienced, qualified and endorsed psychologists.

Services we offer

The following services are accepting new enquiries:

  • therapy for adults, children and families
  • career assessment services
  • group ADHD programs for adults (Mondays only)
  • emotion coaching group for parents and carers (Fridays only)
  • psychometric assessments for children and adults, for diagnosis of ADHD or specific learning difficulties, or general cognitive capacities (check the services page for wait list information).

Please note we are unable to:

  • prescribe medications following an ADHD diagnosis
  • provide a confirmation of a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • offer neuropsychological assessments.
