Who can refer me to your Clinic?

No General Practitioner referral is required for Psychometric Assessments or Individual Therapy.

How can I contact you?

What happens after I book my appointment?

All new clients complete an initial intake call where one of our provisional psychologists phone you to obtain more information, assess if our service is the best fit for you and progress you to our wait list, if suitable. You will be contacted later when an appointment becomes available.

How long should I allow for my first appointment?

We recommend you allow at least an hour.

Is there parking available?

Yes there is. Directions and parking information

You will be advised in more detail at booking, however:

  • Concession Cards – if applicable.
  • Previous reports – or other letters/relevant information.
Arriving at the clinic

You will need to complete a client information and consent form. Our staff will then register you as a client.

Your initial consultation

You will be advised at booking of the specifics, but all first sessions involve an assessment of your needs.

Will I get money back from Medicare, NDIS or my private health insurance?

The Psychology Clinic is a cost-effective clinic and staffed by provisionally registered psychologists, so it is ineligible for rebates via Medicare or through your private health insurance. Rebates may be possible through NDIS if you have self-managed funding.

When do I pay for my appointment?

Payment is required upon arrival for your appointment. We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS. Bank cheques also accepted for large purchase items. Please note that we do not accept American Express, personal cheques or cash in the clinic.

Don’t forget to bring any concession cards such as pensioner cards to ensure we bill you at the correct rate.
